OJSC TransContainer is Russia’s largest container operator, employing over 5,000 people, with 47 terminals in all of Russia’s major freight centres, while its 17 branches encompass the entire network of Russian Railways. In addition, TransContainer owns the largest fleet of specialist rolling stock in Russia, the CIS and the Baltic States, with over 23,000 fitting platforms and over 53,000 large-tonnage containers.
